How big of a dance floor do you need?

Planning the right dance floor size is easier than you think. You want enough space for your guests to move comfortably without making the floor look empty.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL DANCE?

Typically, about half to two-thirds of your guests will be on the dance floor during the busiest moments of your event. This varies throughout the night as people eat, socialize, and take breaks.

OUR DANCE FLOOR OPTIONS

We use 3x3 foot tiles that lock together to create a smooth, seamless dancing surface. Here's what works well for different party sizes:

Up to 50 guests: 12' x 15' floor

Up to 75 guests: 15' x 18' floor

Up to 120 guests: 18' x 18' floor

Our largest option is 18' x 18' (using all 36 tiles), which comfortably accommodates events up to 120 guests.

WHY THIS SIZE WORKS

Even with larger groups, not everyone dances at once. People naturally take turns, and a moderately-sized floor actually creates better energy than an oversized one. A busy dance floor encourages more guests to join in!

OUTDOOR EVENTS

Planning an outdoor event on grass? No problem. We provide a subfloor system at no extra charge to create a stable, level foundation. Many other rental companies charge extra for this essential component.

PRICE

Each 3x3ft tile is $25 per day. The subfloor is free of charge.

We make free deliveries within city limits and charge a price of $3.00 per kilometer (calculated for two trips) on out-of-town delivery.

For example, if the event is 100 kilometers from Thunder Bay, we would quote $600 ($3 per km x 100km x 2 trips [Drop off & Pick up]).

Keep in mind, we would hope you would also be renting tables, chairs and much more for the event!

THE BOTTOM LINE

We'll help you choose the right size for your specific event. Whether you need a cozy 12' x 15' for an intimate gathering or our full 18' x 18' for a big celebration, we've got you covered.
